When you visit websites, your navigation software, i.e., Netscape or Microsoft Explorer, keeps a record of where you have been. Depending on how your software was set up and which version of the software you are using, this history record may or may not be deleted. To ensure that no one can trace your steps, you need to delete the record. There are four sets of instructions, one for each of the following: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, Netscape Communicator 4.5, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (Mac version), and Netscape 7.0 (Mac version). Even if you are not using one of these specific versions, you may find it helpful to read through the instructions so that you have an idea of the kind of options to look for in your browser.
Determine what software you are using and then choose the corresponding set of instructions (below). Generally speaking, if you are using Netscape, you will see an icon with a capital "N" on the right side of the screen. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will see an icon with a small "e" on the right side of the screen.
We suggest that you quickly read over the set of instructions applicable to you before proceeding to use the RoseNet site.
